Job Description :
1. Communicate effectively with customers over email and phone calls
2. Understand authors’ publication requirements, translate these requirements from Japanese to English and effectively communicate them to internal stakeholders
3. Effectively convey the information from the internal stakeholders back to the customers (English to Japanese)
4. Be the voice of the customers for internal teams and go the extra mile to delight customers so that they come back and prefer our brand over competition
5. Work with team members to monitor and achieve the targets towards customer conversion rate, influencing repeat customers, etc.
6. Understand market dynamics and analyze as well as share market trends with the relevant departments.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
Experience: 1 - 2 years previous experience in a customer service or related role.
1. Native level written and spoken Japanese language skills
2. Excellent English speaking, writing and comprehension skills
3. Very strong customer focus and a customer first approach
4. Ability to multi-task and manage stress
5. Positive, passionate, open and keen to learn.
